Thoughts From the Coffee Table: If you saw my Tuesday post, you know I recently had a traumatic experience. I’m not going to lie and say everything is fine. Heck, after looking at the pic of my from yesterday, I could see how haunted I look. But am getting better.

I decided today was a good day to get back into yoga and find some peaceful perspective.

I have only been to this lovely small studio a few times. I had just booked my first month of sessions and only was able to go once when my father in law passed away. The owners were gracious, allowing me to roll over my unused sessions for a couple of months, but the chaos of life didn’t allow it. Ever since, however, I have known I would go back. This is a business that truly puts the customer first.

Walking back in this morning felt like a warm embrace. The instructors are fantastic. The environment is the perfect balance of meditation and bright lovely light. The display of ancillary products for sale feels welcoming.

I walked out with a new mat, but have my eye on a lovely t-shirt and a few bracelets to balance my chi. Yes, my inner consumer is still doing fine.

I left restored. The healing has begun. And after a 7 month yoga hiatus, the ibuprofen shall be consumed!
