Thoughts From the Coffee Table: If you read my posts you might think that I am an overly positive person, which I suppose I am. Or you might think I see the world through rose colored glasses. Which I do not.
I have my share of grumpy moments and disappointing experiences. I just refuse to let those define me.
I recently listened to a conversation where I heard the words “I hate” over 37 times in an hour. I count these things.
I was a captive audience, or else I would have moved, and yet I was fascinated by the total focus on the negative.
I probably need therapy.
Perhaps most of my view is motivated by this word, aptly given by my new friend Rachael Hession from the Body Shop. I am grateful for the people I meet and experiences I have every day. I am grateful for my health and the love of family and friends. I am grateful for this adventure I am on.
Today I head to NYC again for the day, continuing on my journey of finding the best experiences to catalog and share.
By the way, did you know there is a dating app called Hater? It matches you with people who hate the same things you do. I saw it on Sunday Morning, so it must be true.
Thank you all for being a part of my Love It! app. I call it Thoughts From the Coffee Table.
