Thoughts From the Coffee Table: OK, please don’t judge me. I was buying Jameson at 9:00am this morning. Simply to restock our bar. I promise.
5 years ago we sold our car, realizing that we simply don’t need it where we live. If we need to make a big grocery run (or possibly across state lines to Total Wine), we either rent a zip car or make extra use of a rental if we have one for work. That was today, providing the opportunity to buy liquor before I finished my coffee.
Because I am nosy, this sign caught my attention, taped by each register. I have always found people in the Cherry Hill, NJ store to be helpful, knowledgeable, and never judgmental about what is in my (I mean other people’s) carts. Until this morning, however, I have never written about them despite the fact that I have always had excellent customer experiences.
This sign made me smile with such a positive tone and vibe. It reminds me a bit of “Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten” but from a sales perspective.
Let’s see how our gal did. Smiling and friendly? Check. Making eye contact? Check. Engaging? Check. Complementing and knowledgeable? Check. Saying thank you? Check!
Sarah gets a perfect score and made my day brighter!
