Thoughts from the Coffee Table: Thanks to a post by Melissa Torres, I had no choice but to go in search of these items in my local center city Philly Bath & Body Works. In my continued research on the customer experience, this time I was going for product only.
As I entered the store (and it has probably been at least 5 years since I have been in a Bath & Body Works) I was literally surprised by Aaron who jumped up from behind the front display.
Of the three employees in the store, I had interactions with two, Aaron, and a young lady. Both were exceptional in their greeting to me and in engaging me about the products. But Aaron’s energy and personality is infectious. I watched him interact with every customer and each of his colleagues, and I couldn’t help but smile.
Frankly, listening to his story about using the shareable soap when it came out was the best part! These products look fun and I suppose I am going to have to send the shapeable soap to my grandchildren, but not until I’ve played with it first…
